- For newly installed slab surfaces that are “mud set”, impregnation is not recommended for 3 to 4 weeks. In high traffic areas, a light periodic re-application may be needed for maximum protection. COVERAGE For polished surfaces - 800 to 1000 sq. ft. (75 - 93 sq. meters) per gallon. For Non-Polished Surfaces - 500 to 800 sq. ft. (47 - 75 sq. meters) per gallon. Note that more porous stone surfaces such as Saltillo tile, Mexican pavers, flagstone, sandstone, etc. will require more material.
